CAG director Doug MacLean is a Canadian art dealer with 30 years of experience and a keen understanding of contemporary Canadian art history, mountain artists and mountain art. His constant surveying of art markets in Canada, the U.S.A. and around the world, with an eye on undervalued art and forgotten artists, forms the basis of his unique services.

When not pursuing business from his home office or traveling professionally, Doug enjoys back country skiing, hiking, and world travel. For many years he has volunteered throughout the Canadian Rockies as a "custodian of huts" with the Alpine Club of Canada.
